Chain Reaction Youth Ministry

MISSION AND PURPOSE

The mission of Chain Reaction is to reach teens with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in an intentionally welcoming, safe, Christ-centered environment, striving to place God first in our lives.

Sunday Morning Program

We have Sunday School, from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM, in the youth room for high school students, and in the Fellowship Hall for middle school youth.

Sunday Evening Program

We have youth meetings from 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM for middle school youth and 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM for high school youth. The youth program includes games, snacks, and a discussion topic from current Christian authors.

The meetings are a great place to hang-out with friends, have Biblically-relevant life discussions, do fun activities, and eat semi-healthy snacks. We also have a time to pray about joys and concerns happening in the lives of the youth and leaders.

Remember that friends are always welcome at the meetings!

Other

OBUMC Youth also participates in events offsite that include anything from Christian rock concerts, to mission activities, fellowship opportunities, and youth conferences.
