Sunday Service Times

  • 8:30 AM: Traditional
  • 11:11 AM: Contemporary

Music is an important part of worship at Old Bridge.  Whether it’s enjoying traditional hymns and the choir at our 8:30 service or the praise band at 11:11 contemporary service, you can be assured that the people of Old Bridge make a joyful noise unto the Lord!  We’re always looking for new folks to share their musical gifts - singing in the choir or praise band, playing an instrument or even helping our AV team.  The information below may help you decide how you can best participate in our music ministry.

Rehearsal Times

Adult Choir | Wednesdays 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM (Room 106)

Adult Choir works on a delightfully rich blend of music every week. Age doesn't really matter when you get to adult choir, but a joyful attitude and a willingness to "belt it out" for the Lord is a must! We look forward to seeing you there!

Praise Bands | Thursdays 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM (Sanctuary)

Always looking for talented folks who can sing contemporary music, play various types of guitars, drums, or keyboard. Come out and help praise God with music.

Children's Choir | Sundays 9:45 AM - 10:00 AM

Open to children ages 3 years - 5th grade, our Children's Choir meets each Sunday to learn classic Bible songs and familiar hymns.  Pairing hand motions and simple melodies, the Children's Choir performs periodically in worship services here at Old Bridge and Tribute at the Glen Senior Living Center.

A/V Support

Looking for a way to use your tech gifts to serve God? We are seeking dedicated A/V Support volunteers to serve in the sound booth in the sanctuary during our Traditional and Contemporary Worship Services. In this ministry, we will train you how to provide audio and visual support during our worship services. This will include, learning how to run sound on the mixing console, mic-ing and cabling, replacing batteries on wireless gear, how to run EasyWorship (the multi-media software that makes the lyrics and videos happen on the big screen), and how to troubleshoot various a/v problems should they arise. Because OBUMC also facilitates media for weddings, funerals, Holy Week, VBS, and holiday services that extend beyond our Sunday worship, we also need A/V Support volunteers who could prayerfully consider offering additional availability to facilitate those events.

Sound interesting to you? If so, please see an A/V Support person in the sound booth this Sunday, or email our church office.
